
2025-2026 SEASON SCHEDULE
Today we look at the December events, as 2026 knocks on the door.
On the international calendar this month, two events are going at basically the same time, as the Olympic Qualification Event is in Kelowna, British Columbia on 6-19, while the World Junior-B Curling Championships are in Lohja, Finland on 7-19.
There are, at time of this post, no national events confirmed.
To the Grand Slam of Curling season, and the penultimate leg of the season, the Co-op Canadian Open is in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on 16-21.
On to the tour schedule, going week-by-week.
Week 20
Two spiels with Men’s and Women’s events this week. The BC Provincial Open Qualifiers are in a venue TBD, and the Take-Out Trophy is in Basel, Switzerland, both on 5-7.
There are four Mixed Doubles events this week. The Madtown Doubledown is in Madison, Wisconsin, and the Uppsala Mixed Doubles is in Uppsala, Sweden, both on 4-7. The North Bay Mixed Doubles is in North Bay, Ontario, and the Challenge Double Mixte Boucherville is in Boucherville, Quebec, both on 5-7.
Week 21
Three spiels with Men’s and Women’s events this week, all on 11-4. the Chicoutimi Invitation in Chicoutimi, Quebec, the Rick Rowsell Classic in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Western Showdown in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
Two Mixed Doubles events this week. The Super Series – Moose Jaw is in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on 11-4, and the St. Mary’s Mixed Doubles is in St. Mary’s, Ontario on 12-14.
Week 24
One Women’s event this week, with New Year Curling in Miyota in Miyota, Japan on 29 December-1 January.
Two Mixed Doubles events this week. The Southern States Mixed Doubles is in Charlotte, North Carolina on 28-31, and the Super Series – Fredericton is in Fredericton, New Brunswick on 1-4 January.
